History of Tengdeng TW

Tengdeng TW is a type of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) made by China. It was showcased during the 2018 Zhuhai Air Show. The displayed model, called "TW356," has a black color and is equipped with two suspended turboprop engines. These engines power a set of five-bladed propellers located behind a large spinner.

The UAV has its main wings positioned high up, and it has a retractable tricycle landing gear, which means the wheels can be pulled inside during flight.

There is a larger and heavier version of the TW known as the TW765. It can carry up to 22 tons of cargo and has a range of up to 7,500 kilometers.

The TW Series has a unique feature called the "mission module" approach. This means that a single vehicle can be used for different purposes. It can be equipped for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), electronic warfare (EW), and other roles. The UAV can also be fitted with the "Balanced Beam" early warning radar (used in the KJ-200 platform). This adds to its tactical and strategic value.
