History of the Hawker Model 800

The Hawker 800 received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) in 1984. 3 engines and slightly modified exterior cockpit. With the -3 engine, the Hawker 700 did not perform well in hot weather and at high altitudes. With the -5 engine and its 600 pounds of extra thrust, those performance deficiencies were made up for an extra 430 nautical miles of range.

307 Model 800s were produced.

In 1995, Raytheon introduced an XP version of the 800. The 800XP's TFE731-5BR engine produced 360 pounds of additional thrust, greatly improving balance field length and increasing range by 80 nautical miles. The aircraft is also equipped with the Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite.
