History of the CASC CH-901

The CH-901 made by China's CASC is like a smart flying bomb. It's a drone that is meant to be used just once, because it has explosives attached to it. More and more countries are starting to use these kinds of drones, including the US and Israel.

CH-901 is a small drone, and it's made from a mix of features found in other drones that CASC produces. It uses a two-blade propeller to fly and is primarily meant to attack targets on the ground. A cool feature is that a bunch of these drones can work together in a group to focus on a target, which is called a "swarm".

The drone looks like a missile and has wings that pop out when it's launched. It's shot out of a tube, so it's easy to carry around and use.

People controlling the drone on the ground have special portable devices with screens that help them see what the drone is seeing and control it easily.

There are different ways to launch this drone. A single person can do it, or it can be launched in big numbers from a larger aircraft. China has also shown that these drones can be launched from a vehicle that has 48 tubes, and they can swarm around the target together.

Besides attacking, the CH-901 can also be used for spying because it has cameras on it. It's pretty advanced and can even attack other things in the air, not just on the ground.
