Dr. Fokker Series I ("Dr" from "Dreidecker", meaning "Dreidecker") is most closely related to Manfred von Richthofen (aka "Red Baron"), as Dreidecker was the first choice for the last months of his life Mount, which made up his final 20 kills. The Dr. I design matched the Sopwith triplane and appeared in October 1917.

She was a capable aircraft, more appreciated than the unique tri-wing design of the pilot who flew her. Ultimately, production of the system was limited, and its career spanned only the last year of the conflict, before being used as a defense system against Germany until 1918.

Obviously the most distinctive feature of this type is the tri-wing design, popularized by the Sopwith Triplane - all in all, proving to be a worthy design. While it introduced drag (which in turn resulted in a reduction in overall speed), this arrangement made the aircraft highly maneuverable, able to turn quickly and provide a huge rate of climb, while providing a smooth dive. Overall, the design is typical, with the pilot sitting in an open cockpit behind the large wing structure. The landing gear is fixed, controlled by two large wheels, and has a tail slip at the rear. Armament consists of two 7.92mm Spandau machine guns, fired forward via a synchronized propeller system.

Dr. I was also one of the last aircraft types in the Oberursel Ur to have a rotary piston engine. II 9 cylinder line.

Top 100 Ph.D.s. After a combat assessment, I was sent to the fighter squadron in Richthofen in October 1917. By the end of that year, it soon became apparent that there was a problem with installing the wings, so much so that some Fokker Dr. I broke mid-flight, causing several fatal crashes. Of course, that forced the entire model to be grounded after further scrutiny by an authorized crash committee.

The resulting judgment is found in the construction of the wing. With the adjustment of the Fokker line, Dr. I got the green light to fly again in late November, with all the Drs. I-wings have been inspected and repaired/replaced as needed.

This setback was undoubtedly due to low overall production, which was only about 320 units until the production line closed in May 1918. So far, Seiki was seriously surpassed by its competitors and gradually disappeared from aviation history.
