History of the Dassault Falcon 10X

The Dassault Falcon 10X is the traditional French group's latest entry into the business jet (Bizjet) market (as of July 2021). Known as a wide-body assortment, "ultra-long-range" twin-engine actuator, this type can be used in typical roles such as VIP and general passenger transportation, while still having the flexibility to perform military-focused missions such as maritime patrols (it is aggressively marketed in this role) to the French Air Force).

The series was officially launched by Dassault in May 2021.

The Falcon 10X is largely traditional and functional, yet still exudes cutting-edge technology, luxury and capability. The cockpit can seat two people side by side, the instrument panel features a large full-color screen, and each seat has redundant digital flight controls (F-16-style side stick controls) (seats spanning common seats). Center console).

There are four mission/system screens in the game as well as a heads-up display (HUD) for each crew member. The cockpit is in its usual position, behind a sharp but rounded short nose cone assembly that provides good visibility.

The hull is dotted with round windows for viewing/natural light and emergency exits are mounted amidships.

On the inside, the aircraft is customizable and offers the luxury features expected from an aircraft of this type, including swivel chairs, folding tables, widescreen TVs, galleys and other amenities. Oversized cabins can be configured to include different seating configurations as well as beds for long-haul flights.

The main aircraft are monoplanes of swept-back design to improve aerodynamic efficiency. These elements are mounted low on the sides of the hull (near the midship) and covered with winglets. The engine is kept outboard and mounted in the rear of the cabin to control noise from the occupants.

The fins are in a T-shaped arrangement, with the horizontal plane on top of a single vertical fin plane. Conventional wheeled retractable landing gear is used for ground travel.

Powered by 2 Rolls-Royce Pearl 10X non-afterburner turbofans, each producing 18,000 lbs of thrust. Coverage is one of the advertising features of Dassault's new product, as the platform can travel from Los Angeles to Beijing, Sydney, Tel Aviv and even Moscow on internal fuel.

The design and noise levels make the aircraft usable for business aviation and general airports.

Performance figures include 13,900km total range, Mach 0.925 speed and 15,545m operating altitude. Dimensions include a barrel length of 33.4 meters, a wingspan of 33.6 meters and an overall height of 8.4 meters. The maximum take-off weight (MTOW) is 52,163 kg.
