History of the DKW NZ350

DKW, a German company based southwest of Dresden, supplied the German military with one of their most popular types of motorcycles, the NZ350. Primarily traditional in design, the model is powered by a 346cc, 1-cylinder, two-stroke engine that can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) and have a range of 217 miles (350 km).

The vehicle weighs 377 pounds (171 kilograms) and is primarily used for dispatch missionsthough soldiers can find many uses for this fast-moving system.

The NZ350 was known for its off-road capability, ruggedness and agility, and was bought in large quantities during the war years (1939-1945).
