The Tr-F1 is a French 155mm towed howitzer, manufactured by Nexter (formerly Giat Industries) and used by the French Army. This rapid-firing 155mm gun is a dual-rail configuration with a rotating platform. Its 40 caliber barrel is the same as that of the 155mm AUV vehicle. It fires 6 rounds per minute and has a range of 24 kilometers, with a range of up to 30 kilometers using the French base Bleeds.
The TR F1 is towed by a 48-round capacity ammunition truck equipped with a special hydraulic crane to handle different types of ammunition. The Mle F1 high-explosive round has a maximum range of 24 kilometers, and the extended-range ammunition has a maximum range of 30 kilometers.
The hydraulic assist mechanism for loading the grenade can pull out 3 rounds in 15 seconds, or 6 rounds per minute in 10 minutes, or 120 rounds per hour. If the device fails, it will still be possible to shoot at a manual shop, but at a lower price. Secondary armament consists of a 12.7mm machine gun on a TRM 10000 tractor capable of anti-aircraft fire and ground attack. 8 crew: 1 commander, 1 pointer, 1 charger, 2 suppliers, 2 bomb disposal specialists, 1 driver.
Due to the hydraulic system, battery unloading is completed in less than 5 minutes, and battery supply is completed in 2 minutes.
