History
The Norinco Type 77 is a Chinese amphibious infantry fighting vehicle. First deployed in 1978, it resembles the earlier Soviet BTR-50 in many respects. However, the two vehicles had little in common in design, as the Type 77 was based on the Type 63 light tank.
