History of the BAZ-64022

The BAZ-6909 is a Russian military vehicle designed for hauling heavy loads and specialized equipment. It has a strong engine with 500 horsepower, making it capable of carrying 13-21 metric tons both on and off-road. This vehicle is part of the Voschina family of military trucks, developed with funding from the Russian Ministry of Defense and adopted by the Russian armed forces.

The BAZ-6909 is well-suited for rough terrain and remote areas, with good cross-country mobility. It comes with an armored cab that can accommodate three people, and there are versions with extended cabs. The vehicle is powered by a robust diesel engine that's positioned behind the cab to protect it from damage and mud blockage. Additionally, it's capable of being airlifted by transport aircraft like the An-22, An-124, or Il-76.
