History of Kel-Tec PF-9
The Kel-Tec PF-9 is a compact semi-automatic polymer pistol manufactured by Kel-Tec CNC Industries, Incorporated, USA (Florida). It was designed by George Kellgren and officially launched in 2006. Due to its compact size, this weapon has become a popular option for concealed carry in civilian and security/law enforcement sectors.
Loaded with the equally popular 9x19mm Parabellum pistol cartridge, it is fired from a standard short recoil fed by a seven-round detachable magazine.
In many respects, the PF-9 is basically a conventional semi-automatic pistol, except for its convenient carrying size and sleek profile. The total weight is only 12.7 ounces and the overall length is 5.85 inches (3.1 inches long barrel). Various color versions are available upon customer request.
