History of the PGM Mini-Hecate II
French PGM Precision offers three main battle rifles in 2022: the PGM338, "Ultima Ratio," "Hecate II," and the scaled-down "Mini-Hecate II." The PGM338 and Ultima Ratio serve as general sniper rifles, while the Hecate II is an oversized Anti-Material Rifle designed for armored targets and counter-sniping. The Mini-Hecate II, on the other hand, is a modular and versatile tactical design, featuring adjustability in various components, folding for storage and transportation, and multiple attachment points for accessories.
These rifles share a strong alloy steel receiver and a manual burst system for cartridge management. The magazine holds five rounds, and the trigger assembly is fully adjustable. They feature a Picatinny rail for optics and side rails for tactical attachments, as well as a foldable bipod and a muzzle brake to reduce recoil. Additionally, the rifles can be equipped with silencers for covert long-distance operations. Depending on the variant, they are available in various cartridge calibers and barrel lengths to suit different needs, with the Commando 60, 69, and 76 variants providing flexibility in terms of overall length for transport.
