History of the Kalashnikov MA
The Kalashnikov MA is a modern compact assault weapon/miniature assault rifle developed by a well-known Russian company, designed to inherit the ancient AKS-74U rifle series (detailed elsewhere)). site) circulated in the Russian Armed Forces and many other global operators. The design is used for special forces such as vehicles and helicopter units, and is also a viable close combat weapon for special forces such as the Alpha Group (SPETSNAZ).
The popularity of the AKS-74U series was understandable, but the Russian Armed Forces soon discovered that their design limited the operational range of SMS messages. MA promises more firepower in a lighter, more portable package.

The MA is fitted with a??? 5.45mm intermediate cartridge, which provides good range and personnel stopping with less recoil compared to the traditional full-power Soviet 7.62mm rifle cartridge. The folding stock helps keep the gun compact, only 20 inches long.
The weight of the gun is 5.5 lbs. It is fed from a detachable 30-round magazine that is inserted in the usual way in front of the trigger unit. Picatinny rails are partially built into the design and span the full length across the receiver and front end. The series accepts many popular optics and sights to meet mission requirements.
The polymer construction ensures that the product is lightweight and the dimensions allow the gun to be easily transported and even concealed. The MA certainly has the look and feel of a Western weapon, a far cry from the Soviet-era furniture-laden long guns.
In addition to its obvious military value, MA sells to a wide range of potential customers, including security companies and mercenary companies tasked with protecting high-value targets.
