Regian re. History of Falcon I in 2000
The Reggiane 2000 series aircraft are strongly reminiscent of American interwar designs that appeared between 1930 and 1940. The Reggiane retains a powerful shape centered on a large engine, a wing with rounded edges and a traditional structure in general.
Combined with German-designed Daimler-Benz 605 series engines, the 2005 Reggiane model complements Allied fighter jets.
This particular Italian aircraft design started with the Re. 2000 "Falco" ("Falcon") and was designed in 1937. Some limited-production examples are in service with the Italian Navy, although other branches have paid little attention to the system. There.
The 2000 came online as a traditional monoplane fighter design featuring a large centered canopy that took up most of the upper length of the fuselage. The enlarged engine bay gave the Re. Handsome fighter jets appeared in 2000, but the system has since reached speeds of over 390 miles per hour. Armament (Re. 2005) consists of an impressive array of cannons and machine guns, with 3 x 20mm MG151 series cannons and 2 x 12.7mm heavy caliber Breda SAFAT machine guns in the upper hood.
To complete the equipment, the Reggiane design also incorporates retractable landing gear. There. The 2005 exterior styling was noticeably different, taking on a more aerodynamic style of modern aircraft design.
As a regular partner in crime, Germany offered Regian to try some Re. Built in 2001 with a DB 601 inline engine. No matter how successful the attempt was, these engines were needed for the German war. As such, the DB 601 was accepted for licensed production under the Alfa Romeo label. When the re-DB 605 was introduced in 2005, it was produced by Alfa Romeo and will be re-produced.
The 2005 is considered the most capable fighter design the Italians have built throughout the conflict.
At the end of her run, Reggiane Re. The 2000 series fighters were mainly used as defensive fighters on Italian-controlled lands. As more and more areas fell into the hands of the advancing Allies, Re.
The 2000 series models have been retired, and a handful of Italian pilots are intentionally (and unknowingly) still serving their careers.
