SkyFall Midstrike

History

The SkyFall Midstrike is a Ukrainian fixed-wing strike unmanned aerial vehicle developed for medium-range missions. It has a reported maximum range of 600 km and can carry a warhead weighing 40–50 kg.

SkyFall publicly revealed the aircraft in July 2026. By August, the company stated that the drone was already in serial production and had demonstrated successful combat performance, although operational details remained undisclosed.

Public disclosure

SkyFall presented the system to Bloomberg during the Farnborough International Airshow, held in the United Kingdom on 20–21 July 2026. It was described as the first middle-strike drone in the company's product portfolio. Contemporary reporting used Midstrike as a descriptive name, while SkyFall said that the official product name and additional details would be announced later.

Defender Media published the first detailed photographs and specifications in August 2026. The aircraft shown had a fixed wing with an approximate span of 3.5 m. AERONAUT.media reported that it used a piston engine driving a propeller.

Design

Airframe and propulsion

The Midstrike is a fixed-wing unmanned aircraft with an approximate wingspan of 3.5 m. Its piston-propeller propulsion system is intended to support missions at ranges of up to 600 km. Published information has not identified the engine model, airframe materials, launch method, recovery method, speed, endurance, or guidance system.

Warhead

In August 2026, SkyFall stated that the Midstrike had already demonstrated successful combat performance. The company did not disclose the dates, locations, targets, quantities used, or results of individual missions. Militarnyi also reported the manufacturer's claim of successful combat use.

Production

SkyFall reported that serial production was underway by August 2026. The company had signed contracts with international partners to supply the drones to the Ukrainian Defence Forces. The identities of the partners, contract quantities, and delivery schedules were not disclosed.

The manufacturer planned to increase production capacity to as many as 1,000 aircraft per month by the end of 2026. This figure represented a production target rather than a confirmed output rate. The reported unit price was approximately US$25,000–30,000, depending on configuration.
