In 2015, the Iranian state unveiled several new military systems at an open-air exhibition. One of the special projects is a compact single-seater ultra-light 4-ton tracked vehicle called "Fallagh". Its true role on the battlefield is still unknown, although the system is likely to be used as light infantry support/reconnaissance or cargo/weapon transport. For self-defense, a Remote Weapon Station (RWS) is mounted on top of the vehicle (with full 360-degree traversal and unobstructed elevation range) and is armed with a 12.7mm DShK Machine Gun (HMG). The driver sits in a framed cockpit in the bow and the engine is in the stern.

Sprocket Arrangement Six small idlers are mounted on each side of the fuselage, as well as drive sprockets and track idlers in their usual positions. There are three orbital deflection rollers. The chain link itself is smaller in width.

Performance figures include a top speed of 130 km/h on paved roads. Off-road performance drops to 100 mph, but the track characteristics of the design help keep up with the main mechanized forces. The range is up to 400 kilometers.

Fallagh is probably a project not suitable for mass production - a showcase of the Iranian military industry more than anything else.
