The Beretta Cx4 "Storm" is a carbine tactical civilian market product based on the military Mx4 Storm series, building on the longstanding foundation of the endless line of excellent Beretta pistols. The weapon bridges the product gap between the famous Beretta 92 pistol and the Beretta ARX-100 series of tactical rifles, which are new for the new millennium.

In addition to being used as a sporting and hunting weapon, the small and lightweight Cx4 is also used by some US police forces.

The Cx4 features low recoil through the proven Beretta single-action recoil system, and can be configured with an optional adapter to accept existing full-size Beretta magazines from a different series. The base model accommodates the ubiquitous 9x19mm pistol cartridge, although 40 S&W chambers are also available.

The Cx4 has a lightweight yet strong body structure that accommodates the necessary internal working parts. The pistol grip is ergonomically designed with a thick trigger ring.

The function lever on the side of the receiver is large and easy to use and reach regardless of the primary operator. Add loops to use shoulder straps. The shoulder pads are padded for comfort when pressed against the shoulders.

Like other modern firearms, the Cx4 offers customizability through secondary rail support. The full-length section is standard on the top of the weapon and is located between the front and rear sights for mounting optical attachments or laser sights.
