History
The Glock 24 is a limited edition pistol developed by Glock GmbH in Austria. The Model 24 is an offshoot of the Glock 17 and is used to launch larger models. 40 S&W cartridge with new long slider and composite alloy frame. The longer rails make the Glock 24 instantly recognizable.
In any case, the system was discontinued in the late 1990s, when it was only available by special order.
Like many other Glock pistols, the Glock 24 uses a recoil/double (safety action) firing action. The number of magazines can vary between 10, 15 and 29 rounds. The overall length is reported to be 225 mm (8.86 mm), with a barrel length of 153 mm (6.02 in).
The curb weight is a respectable 26.7 ounces.
