Pindad G2 Story
The semi-automatic pistol market has plenty of options for even the most discerning shooter. Draft designs come from all over the world, even from as far away as Indonesia, where the renowned small arms manufacturer Pindad put its talents to the "G2" pistol.
As far as semi-automatic pistols go, the G2 pistol is largely a traditional legacy design.
It holds a 9x19mm Parabellum pistol cartridge and is fired from a high-capacity 15-round magazine via a single action (SAO) trigger assembly. The magazine is inserted into the pistol grip in the usual way, and using a recoil-operated semi-automatic action, the bolt element moves back. The G2 is equipped with industry standard levers - bolt lock, magazine release, safety. Front and rear sights allow for precise removal, and the grip has a cross-hatch pattern.
Total weight is within 0.95kg.
Two main models are available, the G2 "Elite" and the G2 "Combat". The Elite has an overall length of 221mm and a barrel length of 127mm. The Combat model is 200mm long and has a 114mm barrel.
