The FN-6 is China's new portable missile system, similar to American and Russian models. It uses heat-seeking technology to target and destroy low-flying aircraft like helicopters and attack planes. The FN-6 weighs about 16 kg, with a 72 mm caliber and a maximum range of 6,000 meters. Its rocket can travel up to 3,800 meters at nearly 600 meters per second, powered by a solid-fuel motor. Variants like the FN-16 and HN-6 offer improved performance and new features. The FN-6A is a vehicle-mounted version with a heavy machine gun for local defense, while the ZBL-09 ADS is another air defense system based on the FN-16 with a 30mm Gatling cannon.
