History
The Ruko F11PRO 2 is a foldable consumer camera drone intended for aerial photography and beginner-oriented recreational flying. It combines GPS-assisted flight functions with a three-axis brushless camera gimbal.
The model was launched in November 2024. Ruko markets it with a built-in FAA Remote ID module, 6K-class still-image capture, 4K video recording and two batteries providing up to 70 minutes of combined flight time.
Ruko lists the F11PRO 2 as a 357 g aircraft. The manufacturer's product page describes a maximum video transmission distance of 10,000 ft and Level 5 wind resistance, while its technical specification provides detailed flight, camera and battery data.
Design
Airframe and flight system
The F11PRO 2 uses a folding airframe. Without propellers, its folded dimensions are 6.5 × 3.54 × 2.56 in, while its unfolded dimensions are 13.78 × 15.16 × 2.56 in. Takeoff weight is 357 g.
The navigation system uses GPS and GLONASS. Positioning and hovering also use a barometer and an optical-flow sensor. Ruko specifies vertical and horizontal hovering accuracy of ±1.64 ft. The drone can operate indoors or outdoors.
Supported flight functions include one-key takeoff and landing, Smart Return, GPS Follow Me, Flight Around and route planning. The drone also provides aerial-photography functions, zoom, Night Mode, vertical-screen operation, recording, filters, VR viewing and remote adjustment of the camera angle.
Maximum horizontal speed at sea level in still air is 26 ft/s. Maximum ascent speed is 8 ft/s and maximum descent speed is 9 ft/s. The maximum specified tilt angle is 30 degrees. Ruko rates wind resistance at Level 5 and specifies an operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C.
Camera and gimbal
The camera uses a Sony lens mounted on a three-axis brushless gimbal. The lens angle can be adjusted from -90 degrees to 0 degrees, and the camera supports up to 5× digital zoom.
Images stored on the aircraft's SD card can be recorded at 5700 × 3200, 4096 × 3072 or 3840 × 2160 pixels in JPEG format. Video stored on the SD card can be recorded at 3840 × 2160 pixels at 30 frames per second in MP4 format. The reviewed product is also described as supporting 2.7K video at 30 or 50 FPS and 2K video at 50 FPS.
The live video feed is transmitted at 1280 × 720 pixels and 25 FPS over a 5.8 GHz link. Ruko specifies a maximum transmission distance of 10,000 ft in interference-free conditions. The aircraft supports SD cards with capacities up to 128 GB using the FAT32 file system.
Power and controller
Each flight battery is a 7.7 V, 3200 mAh lithium-ion unit with an energy rating of 24.64 Wh and a mass of 126.5 g. Ruko specifies a maximum flight time of 35 minutes per battery. The standard package described by Ruko includes two batteries, giving up to 70 minutes of combined flight time.
Battery charging takes about 2.5 hours depending on charging power, with an optimum charging-temperature range of 5°C to 40°C. The supplied remote controller contains a 3.7 V, 3600 mAh battery. Ruko specifies up to four hours of controller operating time and approximately 3.5 hours of charging time. The phone holder accepts devices up to 3.5 in wide.
