MAT1LDA (TENCORE Ecosystem) Amphibious Ground Robotic Complex

History

The MAT1LDA is an amphibious ground robotic complex developed by the Ukrainian company NODRICS as part of the TENCORE Ecosystem of ground robotic platforms. The ecosystem was introduced on October 11, 2026. The MAT1LDA was publicly showcased at AUSA 2026 in Washington, D.C. (October 12–14), where Tencore displayed it carrying a TerMIT 2.0 tracked robot equipped with RPV-18 thermobaric launchers, illustrating a layered concept for crossing water obstacles and deploying smaller armed systems into combat zones. Tencore has reported cumulative deliveries of more than 5,000 unmanned ground vehicles to Ukrainian forces since 2024.

Specifications

The MAT1LDA uses an 8×8 wheel configuration driven by a gasoline internal combustion engine. Side pontoons enable the vehicle to cross water obstacles, marshy terrain, and rough ground without prior preparation. According to characteristics stated by the developers, the platform carries up to 500 kg of cargo on land and up to 400 kg while afloat, with a range of up to 160 km on land and up to 50 km on water. Its open frame allows rapid changeover between cargo containers and evacuation stretchers depending on the task.

TENCORE Ecosystem

The MAT1LDA is one of four platform classes in the TENCORE Ecosystem, which also includes the tracked TerMIT, the 4×4 wheeled TOR, and the TRAX Utility firefighting and rescue robot. The ecosystem is intended to cover a range of military and civilian tasks including logistics, evacuation, fire support, water obstacle crossing, and firefighting. Tencore describes it as the first integrated ecosystem of this type in Ukraine. A separate AI KIT module enables a ground complex to continue movement along a route or return to its starting point after losing communication with the operator. Manufacturing expansion includes a German partnership (Quantum Tencore Industries) contracted to produce 2,000 TerMIT vehicles within 12 months, as well as cooperation with Finland's Insta and Canada's Dominion Dynamics, with initial Canadian production targeted for 2027.
