History
New to Glock's 2015 line of semi-automatic pistols is the sub-compact Glock 43 for those who need a concealed carry. It features a new single-stack magazine design that promotes a thinner grip and a slimmer overall profile. The base magazine is limited to six rounds (matching any competing revolver), while the textured grip fits snugly into most people's hands for improved firing control.
A large magazine catch is provided to make magazine removal a breeze. The G43 takes full advantage of the proven features found in previous Glock pistol products.
Dimensions include an overall length of 6.26 and a height of 4.25 inches. The width is 1.02 inches. The barrel is 3.39" long and features a 9.84" long right hand hex twist pattern. Iron sights are located on the front and rear of the slide. Loaded weight is 22.36 ounces and empty weight is 17.95 ounces.
Pull-out force is reported to be around 5.5 pounds and travel is 0.49 inches. Standard six-round magazine for 9x19mm pistol rounds.
